CA Names Richard Sills Corporate Senior Vice President and General ...

CA (NASDAQ:CA) today named Richard Sills corporate senior vicepresident and general manager of CA Services, reporting to CAPresident and Chief Operating Officer Mike Christenson.

Sills will lead the company's "Rapid Time-to-Value" strategy,focused on designing and delivering services-based solutions thathelp CA customers realize immediate value from their CAinvestments. His responsibilities include strategic planning andexecution, oversight of worldwide services architecture,development, marketing and customer education for CA's products.

"Customers turn to CA for our expertise in managing and simplifyingthe complexity in their IT environments," said Christenson."Richard has demonstrated success in delivering that expertise inthe Americas and his international experience makes him ideallysuited for this role."

Sills added, "CA Services leads with our proven expertise andthought leadership to lower customer risk through best practices.Our proven approach results in faster time to value and our provenresults ensure that CA software is configured to align with thecustomer's business processes."

Sills was most recently corporate senior vice president, CAServices for the Americas region. He joined the company in 2002 assenior vice president, CA Services, Strategy and PracticeManagement; in this role he developed the strategy, systems,methods, processes and best practices to improve the customerexperience and increase CA Services' field efficiency andeffectiveness. Prior to CA, Sills ran a successful global practiceat Unisys Corporation focused on the provision of consulting,solutions, implementation and support services targeted at Global100 financial services organizations. Sills held a number ofleadership positions at Unisys including vice president, Sales andServices Operations and director, Enterprise Servers andInfrastructure Solutions.

Sills graduated with honors from Greenwich University in London,England with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.
