Get in the spirit at the Cape Ann Holiday Gift Show on Friday andSaturday, Nov. 7 and 8 at Cruiseport Gloucester, 6 Rowe Square,Gloucester.
Cruiseport’s main ballroom will be bursting with goods,services, and ideas for the holidays— 25 different merchantsall under one roof. The show will feature a variety ofentertainment and surprises, including giveaways, specialactivities, “how to” demonstrations, and more.
Friday night’s highlights will include the Linda AmeroQuartet, wine tasting with Seabreeze Liquors, and beer tasting withCape Ann Brewing.
The entertainment continues Saturday with Share the Musicperforming at 1 p.m. under the direction of Wendy Betts. Also onSaturday the children will enjoy the downstairs “WinterWonderland,” where local artist Loren Doucette will help kidsmake holiday crafts to take home. Santa will pay a special visit onSaturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a camera or have a phototaken professionally by Cape Ann Photography from 2-3 p.m.
The Show will once again feature the Holiday Wreath Contest. Thewreaths can be made of natural or artificial materials and will beon display during the Show. Cape Ann businesses are invited tocompete in the professional category, while all interestedindividuals are welcome to join the amateur one. Also on displaythroughout Cruiseport will be holiday trees beautifully decoratedby local artists and merchants. To enter a wreath or to decorate atree, call the Chamber a t978-283-1601.
The goal of the Show is to promote holiday shopping on Cape Ann,and the Chamber is pleased to have the corporate support ofGloucester Crossing, Horvitz & Frisch, and North Shore 104.9 incarrying out this mission.
