2008-06-26
Lenovo’s IdeaPad U110 consumer notebook PC, the ready- to -wear fashion accessory, is now available in India, Tootoo.com reports.
The IdeaPad U110 is a winner of the three best-of-show awards at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show, according to a press release.
"Customers end up compromising either looks for technology or technology for looks. This `no-compromise’ ultra portable notebook from Lenovo offers both,’’ said Amar Babu, Managing Director, Lenovo India.
The tendril pattern etched into its aluminum lid and the patterned vents on its base both bring to mind an illuminated manuscript or a fine textile. It also has a unique piano finish on the keyboard. The 11-inch wide notebook available in black or red, weighing approximately only 1.05 kg, has an infinite-like viewing experience.
Lenovo tailored the notebook for a perfect fit on performance with a 120 GB hard drive, up to 3 GB of memory, Intel Centrino processing technology, a built-in camera, WLAN, Ethernet and Blue tooth (select models) connectivity, an external DVD burner and the Microsoft Windows VistaT Home Premium operating system.
To keep this ultimate PC accessory running longer without having to plug-in for power, it comes with an additional battery for up to eight hours of battery life. Equipped with VeriFaceT Face Recognition, users can quickly and easily login without having to remember passwords. Dolby Home Theatre and the Multimedia Control Centre provide excellent sound quality, the release added.
