News Lyndsey hopes customers will stay for a yarn A knitting fan

Lyndsey Hurrell, 31, opened Wibbling Wools last week as a sociableshop where customers can sit, browse patterns and talk.

Miss Hurrell said: "Knitting is getting really big again, it isreally taking off.

"People can just sit down, bring their knitting and have a drink."

Stocking organic, natural and hand-dyed yarns, including brandssuch as Rowan, Debbie Bliss, Sirdar and Sublime wools, the shopaims to fill the gap left when wool and needlecraft shop, Jaycraftclosed in February, 2006.

Miss Hurrell will also run knitting and crochet workshops for allabilities, as well as children's classes and tapestry sessions.

She said: "There is a real regeneration happening on Angel Hill andthis side of town.

"Hopefully, there will be a huge demand for these wools in Bury."
