How it began
Consumers have expressed interest in leather floors for many years.In 2006, senior product manager Tino Couto took on the project as apersonal quest to find the ultimate in leather flooring: beautiful,affordable and long-lasting. It took some time, but Couto soondiscovered a partner in the United States, a leather manufacturerwith an adaptable process perfect for home flooring. Prototypeswere created early in 2007. The Canadian national launch isscheduled for Oct 2008.

How do you maintain a TORLYS Leather floor?
TORLYS Leather requires the same maintenance as all other TORLYSfloors. Simply vacuum or sweep your floors once a week or asneeded. To clean your floors, use TORLYS Natural Glow®Eco-Friendly Maintenance Kit once a week or as needed. Clean up anyspills with a cloth.
Can TORLYS Leather floors be easily repaired?
Yes. Only TORLYS offers the Bulldog, a tool that allows you torepair any plank in your floor, even if it's in the middle of yourroom, with no power tools, dust or noise.
What is the Uniclic joint?
The Uniclic joint is a patented joint guaranteed to resist gapping,warping and cupping.
The patented Uniclic is integral to TORLYS Leather. Duringinstallation, it doesn't require messy glues or chemicals, or nailsof any kind. Uniclic creates a remarkably stable and gap-resistantfloor, and because the click joint process is reversible, the floorcan be re-used up to 3 times under warranty.
Can you install TORLYS Leather yourself?
TORLYS Leather uses the patented Uniclic joint, a glue andnail-free joint system that ensures a great-looking floor and makesinstallation easy. All you need is a saw, hammer, installation kit,tape measure, pencil and some time to install your floor. There arealso professional installers.
