Leona named world's sexiest veggie

X Factor star Leona Lewis has been voted the world's sexiest femalevegetarian, reports reveal.

The 23-year-old singer came out on top of a recent poll conductedby global animal rights organisation Peta, as the most attractivecelebrity to support prevention of animal cruelty.

A vegetarian since the age of 12, the award is sure to mean a lotto the young starlet.

Commenting on the foundations of her latest accolade, Leona:"I'm vegetarian, so I don't have clothes, shoes or bags madefrom leather or suede or any animal products. I'm totally againstanimal cruelty."

Other famous beauties associated with Peta include Hollywoodactress Alicia Silverstone whose love of animals and high-profilework for the preservation of their rights is widely known.

Leona is rumoured to be in talks to perform the theme tune for thenext James Bond movie and is due to sing at the closing ceremony ofthe Summer Olympics in Beijing.
