Hasbro Showcases Top Entertainment Properties at San Diego Comic-Con

Following are the highlights of Hasbro's Comic-Con showcase:

G.I. JOE

G.I. JOE, the original action figure, has delivered classicadventure and memorable characters to generations of kids andcollectors for nearly 45 years. With the introduction of the G.I.JOE VS. COBRA saga more than 25 years ago, millions of fans metcharacters such as DUKE, SNAKE EYES, STORM SHADOW and COBRACOMMANDER through toys, comics and animation. Next summer, thecompelling G.I. JOE VS. COBRA storyline comes to life on the bigscreen with the debut of a live action movie from ParamountPictures and Hasbro on August 7, 2009.

MARVEL

It's been an exciting year in the Marvel Universe with MarvelStudio's blockbuster movies, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, aswell as The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series which iscurrently airing. As the master toy licensee for Marvel'sincredible library of Super Hero properties, Hasbro is thrilled todisplay its highly anticipated toys and action figures for 2008from its MARVEL LEGENDS, SUPER HERO SQUAD, IRON MAN, THE INCREDIBLEHULK, SPIDER-MAN and MARVEL TRANSFORMERS CROSSOVERS lines. MY LITTLE PONY

The belle of the Comic-Con ball, Hasbro's iconic MY LITTLE PONYbrand recognizes a remarkable milestone in 2008 with thecelebration of its 25th birthday. A special display featuringone-of-a-kind ponies designed by pop-culture influentials for the"My Little Pony Project: 25 Ponies for 25 Years" will be on hand tohelp celebrate a quarter century of unique MY LITTLE PONY whimsy.Comic-Con will be the first time fans will see an 18" MY LITTLEPONY figure designed by renowned comic-artist and illustrator,Junko Mizuno. STAR WARS

STAR WARS fans of all ages will be able to get a first look atHasbro's largest-ever MILLENNIUM FALCON, when it unveils the newmodel as well as toys from its STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS line asthey make their debut in stores nationwide on Saturday, July 26.The MILLENNIUM FALCON has become one of the most recognizable"characters" in movie history and is one of Hasbro's most popularSTAR WARS toys. The all-new MILLENNIUM FALCON includes electroniclights and sounds, and is approximately 30% percent larger than theoriginal version of the toy, first launched in 1978. STAR WARS: THECLONE WARS blasts off first as a worldwide theatrical release onAugust 15, 2008, then continues as a weekly series on CartoonNetwork beginning in the fall.

TRANSFORMERS

Hasbro's TRANSFORMERS franchise has become a worldwide phenomenonfollowing last year's highly successful movie from DreamWorksPictures and Paramount Pictures. The brand is bigger than everbefore and ready to invade San Diego Comic-Con with its epic battleof AUTOBOTS VS. DECEPTICONS. This year's new Transformers: Animatedtelevision series, which airs on Cartoon Network, has providedgreat entertainment and an exciting line-up of action figures forkids and kids at heart. On display in the Hasbro booth will benever-before-seen additions to the TRANSFORMERS line including asneak peak at how the brand intends to celebrate 25 years of "MoreThan Meets the Eye" in 2009.
