Rizzy Rugs opens in Vegas showroom, bows custom program

Rizzy Rugs and Home, the area rug, bedding,decorative pillow and throw supplier, will open the doors to itsnew, more than 5,500-square-foot showroom here on Monday, July 28during the Las Vegas World Market.
The company, which also operates showrooms in High Point and inAtlanta, will host two special events in celebration of its newpermanent space -- a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Monday,followed on Tuesday by an “Eighth-Floor Open House”co-hosted with several other rug vendors in neighboring showroomsin Building C from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The new space sets the stage for Rizzy’s debut of itscustom-size rug program, which encompasses all of thecompany’s hand-knotted and hand tufted collections. This newprogram encourages dealers to special-order rugs.
Rizzy is committed to a 30-to-60 day production time for eachcustom order on tufted collections; for hand-knotted rugs, thecompany will have orders shipped on an order-by-order basis.
“Our custom size program is yet another vehicle that we areoffering our customers to help them make their respective rugdepartments a profit center,’ said Mark Ferullo, vp, sales.
Also new and on display at the Vegas showroom will be RizzyHome’s cross-merchandised offerings. The rug assortment willbe coordinated with matching decorative pillows, throws and beddingensembles. More than 500 pillows and bedding ensembles will bedisplayed. And there will be almost 550 rugs, both in dedicatedrack displays and as complements to Rizzy Home goods.
