Good news nerdville! The complete 2008 Comic Con schedule has beenposted. Ive spent my entire Sunday afternoon here at CB HQ pouringthrough it, figuring out which panels to plant my feet in while theentire CB team is there covering this thing and resisting theinevitable allure of San Diego beaches to willingly lock ourselvesinside a hot, stuffy, convention center full of sweaty fellowgeeks. Judging from the stuff Comic Con has in store for it, Idsay its totally worth it.

FRIDAY

10:00-10:50 Star Wars: Designing the Clone Wars Universe Meet theoriginal in-house team that designed the unique look of the CloneWars series. They will discuss how they worked with supervisingdirector Dave Filoni to come up with the graphic, painterly styleof imagery that gives Clone Wars its distinct look. Drawing on thelast three years of production, they will share how the charactersand environments have evolved using much of the rich classic StarWars imagery as reference for designing the show's overall look.Moderated by Lucasfilm's Steve Sansweet. Quarantine: Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter)and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the nightshift with a Los Angeles fire station. After a routine 911 calltakes them to a small apartment building, they find police officersalready on the scene in response to blood-curdling screams and soonlearn that a woman living there has been infected by somethingunknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, theytry to escape only to find that the CDC has quarantined thebuilding. Phones, Internet, television and cell phone access havebeen cut off, and officials are not relaying information to thoselocked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the onlyevidence of what took place is the news crew's videotape.Quarantine opens in theaters everywhere October 17.

Pineapple Express: Frankly, if we tell you almost anything aboutthe plot to this action/comedy, we probably wouldn't even beallowed to be here, so let's just say that producer Judd Apatowwill be on stage with the gang in towdirector David Gordon Green,Seth Rogen (star and co-writer), James Franco, DannyMcBride, AmberHeard, and Evan Goldberg (co-writer)to show you how they've takenthis particular genre to new highs.
