Broadbridge Heath v Aldwick

IMPROVING Aldwick batted first with openers Arthur Bradbury (27)and skipper Joel Lodge (43) putting on 58.

Then debutant Leigh Monks (11) joined Lodge to put on another 37.

Keelan Belcher made 56 not out to help Aldwick to 205 for five,backed by Phil Hart (14) and Andy Atkins (29 not out).

Broadbridge's reply was steady, Dave Baker hitting 45 beforebecoming one of Andy Atkins' four wickets for 40.

Belcher bowled well for one wicket while surprise bowler of theseason Hart completed a 13-over spell of spin with four for 56.

Broadbridge finished on 194 for nine, giving Aldwick 14 points in awinning draw.

A game against Walberton brought another win for Aldwick's Sundayside.

Aldwick started slowly but Ian Demers (22) and Steve Nanson built a42-run third-wicket partnership.

Adam Rutter (17) and Nanson put on 80, Nanson finishing with 84 ina total of 184 in 40 overs.

Nathan Belcher took two early wickets, helped by Ian Demers'catches.

John Young swept up the middle order with four for 22. Walbertonfinished 48 short.
