Around the House: Rodolph fabric sale

Rodolph commissions 74 mills to produce designer home furnishing fabrics, and more than 700 fabrics will be offered at its spring sale in Sonoma: silks, linens, cottons, wools and blends in chenilles, velvets, tapestries, prints and sheers, for $5 to $15 a yard (retail values $80 to $130 per yard).
Sale fabrics include excess stock, discontinued items and unusual dye lots in bolts and in remnants. The fabrics are suitable for upholstery, window and wall treatments, pillows, duvets and more. Fabrics range from textural blends to iridescent silks in colors from neutrals to jewel tones, in contemporary to traditional styles. The art-to-wear crowd and quilters will find many fabrics to add to their stashes. Rodolph design consultants will be on hand to consult on colors, and a local independent drapery producer and upholsterer will be available to take appointments to measure and complete customers' projects.
