United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) announces United States cotton export sales

Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) reports Cotton - American Pima - Raw, Extra Long Staple, and Marketing Year 08/01 - 07/31, Outstanding Export Sales and Exports by Country, Region and Marketing Year, 1000 Running Bales.

The programs employ specialists who provide standardization, grading and market news services for those commodities. They enforce such Federal Laws as the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act and the Federal Seed Act.

FAS commodity programs also oversee marketing agreements and orders, administer research and promotion programs.
