Suzhou International Expo Center locates in the CBD core area of Suzhou Industrial Park. Lying just north of the beautiful Jinji Lake, the largest urban inland lake in China, it has the appearance of a splendid traditional open fan. The Center covers an area of 188,600 m2, with a total construction area of 255,000 m2. Its construction is composed of two stages. Stage I construction was completed in 2003, providing a total area of 185,000 m2. At present, the Center has 8 indoor exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of 70,000m2, enough space to accommodate 3,600 internationally standard booths in the two-storey exhibition halls. Within this, 40,000m2of exhibition space has been built as a continuous column free exhibition hall, the largest of its type in the world.
Equipped with advanced facilities, Suzhou International Expo Center has an appropriate layout and a variety of functions, including conference rooms, business centers, accommodation and recreation centers, multi-functional rooms, and so on. International exhibitions, conferences and activities, as well as domestic ones, can all be held here. As more and more famous exhibitions have been successfully held in Suzhou, Suzhou International Expo Center is proven to be qualified in both soft and hard conditions for large exhibitions. It is now one of China’s largest and most influential expo centers.
