The scrap Tungsten is made available through the U.S. Department ofDefense's Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri and is part of aneffort to recycle scrap materials that have a remaining usefullife. According to the International Tungsten Industry Association(ITIA), scrap recycling is an important factor in the world'sTungsten supply. It is estimated that today approximately 30% isrecycled, and the Tungsten processing industry is able to treat andrecover almost every kind of Tungsten-containing scrap.
