J.C. Romero pitched the eighth and took the loss for the Phillies,while starter Jamie Moyer allowed a run on just two hits in sevenframes.
Kyle Kendrick will handle pitching duties for the Phillies onFriday and he is 8-4 with a 4.87 ERA this season. He is 0-1 in hislast three starts and 3-0 with a 4.13 ERA in five career gamesagainst Atlanta.
The Braves just won two of three games against the Florida Marlins,including Wednesday's 9-4 victory in the series finale. Starter TimHudson hurled six shutout innings, while Gregor Blanco and YunelEscobar each drove in three runs to lead the charge.
