Philadelphia, PA - Sandmeyer Steel Company has added 825 (UNSN08825, W. Nr. 2.4858) to its extensive line of corrosion resistantstainless steel and nickel alloy plate and plate products. Nickelalloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions ofmolybdenum, copper, and titanium. The alloy was developed toprovide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments -both oxidizing and reducing. The addition of 825 will allowSandmeyer Steel Company to better service the chemical andpetrochemical, food processing, nuclear fuel reprocessing and wastehandling, oil and gas production, petroleum refining, pollutioncontrol, and steel pickling industries.
Sandmeyer Steel Company is stocking 825 in plate thicknesses from.1875" (5 mm) through 2.00" (51 mm) thick. The Company also stocksa large inventory of other nickel alloys including 330, 400, 400AR,600, 625, 800H, 800AT, and C276.
