Larry Barbee
Larry Edward Barbee, 48, of Soddy-Daisy went home to be with theLord on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.
He was an employee of H.H. Brown Inc. and was a member ofMillwright Local #654.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman O. and Vivian C.Barbee.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Donna Kay Barbee;loving daughter, Teresa Kay Barbee; grandson, Hunter and Colton;sister, Wanda Elsea; mother-in-law, Marcella Harris; son-in-law,Michael Grant; several brothers and sisters-in-laws; and severalnieces and nephews, all of Soddy-Daisy.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral homechapel with the Rev. Troy Simmons officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from after 10 a.m. today at the funeralhome.

Bonnie Dean Cunningham Battle passed on Saturday, July 5, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie James Cunninghamand Mary Lois Cunningham,
Survivors include her husband, Albert Leroy Battle; one son, AlbertLeroy Battle Jr.; two devoted daughters, Victoria Rena Cunninghamand Bonnie Denise Cunningham; four grandchildren, Sabrina Sampler,Jamie Sampler, Altavias Cunningham and Felecia Cunningham; twosisters, Joann Hutchens and Mary Delores Jones; brother, Anthony D.Cunningham, all of Chattanooga; a very special loving and dearfriend, Clifford Humphrey; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephewsand cousins; and a very dear cousin, Dennis Jeffery.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008, 11 a.m. atMcDowell Memorial COGIC with Pastor Terry Douglas officiating.
Wake: today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Reuben Strickland Memorial Chapel.
Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
Chuck Bonner
Charles Wesley Bonner Sr., 74, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, July9, 2008. Chuck went home to be with his Lord and Savior.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, retired police officer,public works, and minister. He was a member of City Church andMasonic Lodge #603.
He was born in Chattanooga in 1933 and was proud to be a part ofboth the community and the city. He will best be remembered for hischarm, his ability to make you smile, his warmth to his family andloved ones, the joy he brought to others through his music, and ofcourse, his sweet tooth and his love for Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Irene Bonner,and son, Steve Bonner.
Survivors include his sons, Ricky Bonner, Wes Bonner, Jeff Bonnerand Elijah Bonner; brothers, Jerry and Norman Bonner; sister, SuePatton; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Heritage FuneralHome chapel with Pastor Mike Chapman officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

Ressie Burnum
Ressie Lou Burnum, 97, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, July 9, 2008,in a local health care facility.
She was born in Sweetwater, Tenn., Aug. 6, 1910, to the late Robertand Mallie Watkins. Mrs. Burnum was a member of Calvary IndependentBaptist Church in Soddy Daisy.
Her husband, Robert King Burnum; sons, Hubert Edgar Burnum andKenneth William Burnum; four brothers; and three sisters precededher in death.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Potter and her husband,Henry, of Hixson, Roy and his wife, Juanita, of Chattanooga, Jamesand his wife, Shirley, of Harrison; daughters-in-law, Nell Burnum,of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Pat Burnum, of Tampa, Fla.; 11grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; threegreat-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank PACE and the Alexian Village stafffor their loving care of our mother.
Funeral services will be today at 2:30 p.m. in the North Chapelwith the Rev. Don Kelley officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Michael Stanley Everett, 48, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008,at home.
He was an automobile mechanic and attended Highland Park BaptistChurch.
Michael is survived by his wife, Kimberly Gail Everett; a daughter,Dashia Everett; his parents, L. B. and Genetta Belle Everett, allof Chattanooga; a sister, Darlene Everett, of Knoxville; and abrother, Phillip Ray Everett Sr., of Athens, Tenn.
A chapel service at the funeral home will be held Saturday, July12, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Wilton Grimes of BethlehemBaptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Silverdale Cemetery.
Visitation is today, July 11, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.
