Brian Frederick Kolb, 56, 22 Augusta Drive, was arrested June 23following a traffic stop and charged with driving while impaired,open container and a brake light violation, all misdemeanors.
James Seth McQueen, 26, 305 N.E. 42nd Street, was charged June 19with driving while license revoked, a misdemeanor, following atraffic stop.
John Howard Masingale, 40, 2990 W. Dolphin Drive, was arrested June24 and charged with assault on a female and resist, delay orobstruct, both misdemeanors. According to a police report,Masingale hit the victim in the face and beat her head on varioussurfaces. The victim was identified as Angel Auman, 33, of the 2900block of West Pelican Drive. She was treated at the scene byEmergency Medical Services. Masingale was located in a wooded areaof 29th Place with the assistance of a canine officer.
Steven Wayne Brown, 19, of Winston-Salem, was charged Thursday inconnection with an Oak Island robbery. He was served in connectionwith the crime while incarcerated in the Guilford County Jail onunrelated charges. Anna Dare Lewis, 17, of Winston-Salem, wasarrested in Guilford County Friday, as a result of the sameincident. Both face the same charges: robbery with a dangerousweapon and breaking and entering, both felonies, along withlarceny, a misdemeanor. The pair, along with an unidentified malejuvenile, allegedly robbed and assaulted a Domino's Pizza delivereron June 15 in the 2500 block of West Pelican Drive. One of themales allegedly hit the delivery man with a crowbar while the othermale hit him with his hands. The delivery driver gave them $15 cashbefore running to a neighboring residence and calling 911. Fivepizzas worth $60 and two warming bags worth $150 also were taken.The woman's alleged role in the crime was not clear from the policereport.
8901 E. Oak Island Drive: Paige Brown, of Oak Island, reported June23 that a woman she knew came to Brown's business, argued with herand threatened to report her to the Better Business Bureau in adispute over the woman's pay. Brown told police she wanted thewoman to stay off the property in the future.
Derek Jason Bolduc, 21, 202 N.E. 49th St., was arrested Thursday onan outstanding warrant for simple assault, a misdemeanor.
4594-A Long Beach Road: David Skehan reported June 14 $1,500 indamage to the parking lot outside his business, caused by a vehiclescraping asphalt and leaking transmission fluid. The owner of thevehicle told police that his vehicle had bottomed out at a drop-offin the parking lot.
Southeast 51st and Northeast 54th streets: Terry Lee Wilson, ofSouthport, an employee of the town of Oak Island, reported June 25that nine manhole covers and rings worth $4,500 for use in the townsewer project were stolen from two sites.
200 block Northeast 63rd Street: Susan Derizans reported at 11 p.m.Thursday that a man had broken into her residence then stood in thedoorway of her bedroom and said he had a gun and wanted to knowwhere her money was located. After stealing her purse from theliving room, he told her to lock the door and left. No injurieswere reported.
300 block Barbee Boulevard: Martha Hayden Self reported Friday thatshe was assaulted by a woman she knew, who had slapped her andpushed her. She was advised of her right to request a warrant froma magistrate but advised that police she did not plan to pursuecharges.
200 block Northeast 46th Street: Ramon Hill, of Thomasville,reported Friday a break-in at his island house. Nothing wasreported stolen.

Zachary Daniel Davidson, 21, of 118 Culbreth Circle, Chapel Hill,was charged Friday with indecent exposure. He was found on the roofof Captain Jacks Apartments, where witnesses told police he hadexposed himself to the public. His bail was set at $3,000.

Deborah Renee Clarida, 45, of 1414 Wooster St., Wilmington, wasarrested on Thursday and charged with larceny. According to police,video footage showed Clarida removing a purse from the Taco Bell at101 Thomas Garst Lane, and later the suspect stated she had triedto use a credit card she found in the purse to buy gas but thetransaction failed. Clarida was placed under a $1,000 bond and hasa trial date of Aug. 5, police said.
Matthew Eugene Graham, 29, of 23222 Andrew Jackson Highway, Bolton,was arrested on Sunday and charged with driving while impaired anddriving with a revoked license. Following a traffic stop on U.S.74/76, Graham was placed under a $500 bond for his charges, andunder an additional $500 bond for a past failure to appear incourt, according to police; his trial date is set for Aug. 26.
Murphy USA: An employee at the gas station at 1116 New Pointe Blvd.told police someone pumped $62.58 worth of gas on Sunday and droveoff without paying.
Steven J. Holshouser, 18, of 123 Royal Street, Leland, was arrestedon Monday and charged with possession with intent tosell/manufacture and deliver marijuana. Holshouser purchasedmerchandise at the Pop Shoppe at 115 Village Road, and when hereached into his pocket to pay for it, a bag containing marijuanaresidue fell out, according to police. An officer then found aZiploc bag containing 10 one-ounce marijuana bags, police said.Holshouser was placed under a $5,000 bond, and his trial date isThursday, said police.
Ryan Lee Williams, 34, of 1249 Lanvale Road, Leland, was arrestedMonday and charged with driving while impaired and driving with anopen container following a traffic stop on Reed Road. Williams wasplaced under a $500 bond, and his trial date is Aug. 22, policesaid.
