Another 50 works aredisplayed in the Portsmouth Historical Society exhibit "FromImpressionism to Yankee Modernism: Portsmouth and the New HampshireCoast" at the Discover Portsmouth Center, Middle and Islingtonstreets. A visit to Cheney's studio will be part of a daylongsymposium on Aug. 2, "Yankee Modernism in Maine."
