Damage halts Bluescope's New Zealand steel making

SYDNEY, July 21 (Reuters) - Steel making was halted on Monday atBluescope Steel Ltd's <BSL.AX> mill in New Zealand when awater cooling system failure caused furnace damage, the companysaid. Bluescope Steel Ltd has to stop producing because of a water cooling system
Repairs will take seven to 10 days and result in the loss of 12,000tonnes to 15,000 tonnes of steel slab production it said.
