Wrought Iron can be used as to house decorating materials

I like to use wrought iron to decorate my house because it can make the house more beautiful. In my bedroom, I used wrought iron in a number of ways. I chose afew wall pieces to help accent what would otherwise be boring wallspace. I used other pieces to show off candles, add some greenery,and accent a bureau.

Wrought iron pieces can, of course, stand on their own as walldécor, particularly for a country home. My daughter uses it to accent the wall up the side of her staircase, alongwith other country designs.

On her newly completed sun porch, she used wrought iron plantersand shelves to hold her many plants and flowers. They helped topull the room together by balancing out the texture of the wickerfurniture. They also helped to set off the wrought iron bar that my husband and I have her a few years back for her anniversary.

In a recent design job that my daughter and I did for a friend's country home, we added a wrought ironbaker's rack to her dining nook. Most of the time, it serves as alovely backdrop for her bric-a-brac. However, during dinner parties, it becomes the perfect country buffet.

To add balance, we added a wrought iron wine rack and a couple of floor candles. Mixed with her old worldcountry dining set and carefully chosen artwork, the results were avery warm and inviting area.

I mix wrought iron with wood in my kitchen area to set off my chef décor and give the area a slightcountry feel. It brings in a different texture to keep all of theheavy wood from overpowering the small space.

One of my daughter's favorite uses for wrought iron pieces are toadd wall candles to a room. Ever the romantic, she loves to set amood to welcome her husband home after a long day at work.
