Excelsys Technologies introduced the XCE 1450W modular power supply. This latestaddition to the Xgen family of 1U power supplies measures just10.55 x 5.00 x 1.59" offering 1340W Continuous/1450W peakpower with efficiencies up to 90%.
The ultra-high efficiencies and high power-density of the XCE PowerSupplies is made possible through the combination of the latest lowloss technologies, planar magnetics and surface mount technologiesreducing thermal loads by more than 50%. The XCE "powerPac" chassiscan be populated with up to 6 off the shelf 25~200W"powerMod" output modules offering single or dual outputsranging 1.0~59Vdc.
All outputs are isolated with ultra-wide adjustment ranges and canbe connected in series or parallel to achieve any output voltagebetween 1.0 – 59Vdc. The "powerPac" chassis and"PowerMod" modules carry independent safety approvalsenabling field-configuration while maintaining UL/cUL60950-1,EN60950-1 Safety Approvals. All configurations feature 5VSB, powergood LED indicators and individual output module control signals.Medical versions of XCE are also available.
Evaluation units and kits are available immediate delivery withproduction lead time up to 8 weeks. Standard pricing is as low as$0.50 per watt for 100 pieces.
