This year, laboratory autoclave manufacturers Priorclave celebratetheir 20th anniversary. They were founded by Charles Prior, with astaff of six, in February 1988, in a modest manufacturing facilityon the former Royal Arsenal site in Thamesmead, London. The Companyinitially manufactured laboratory autoclaves, climatic testchambers and Go-Kart Engines. However, whilst maintaining a smallturnover in bespoke Climatic Chambers, the design and manufactureof laboratory steam autoclaves quickly developed as the corebusiness.
