Smooth cylindrical shanks up to 32mm diameter and Weldon shanks upto 20mm diameter can be clamped directly in the holder.
Standard clamping tool shank diameters are 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and32mm, with metric and imperial intermediate sleeves available tohold tool shanks between 3mm and 25mm diameter.
* Self-contained design - the self-contained design means that noadditional equipment is needed, the tool simply slides into theholder against a fixed stop and is hydraulically clamped by meansof a hexagonal key.
Turning the key actuates a piston which compresses the internalfluid, and this forces the rhomboid form internal membrane securelyonto the shank.
The design of the rhomboid form membrane provides increased clamping forces , which are up to 75% higher than traditional cylindrical designs.
