Kemppi appoints consultant for FT TIG welding

Due to years of consecutive growth, Kemppi Australia has appointed its first full-time technical consultant for Western Australia.

Greg Ferguson, based in Perth, will oversee this important area, which requires a lot of welding technology to cater for various industries.

He has total area responsibility, and this large expanse include some of the most remote parts serviced by Kemppi Australia. Among these are the gold mining in sector in Kalgoorlie, and the boat building industry in Geraldton.

Ferguson has more than 20 years experience in welding related industries. He has worked as a contractor of various services to the mining industry of Western Australia and had represented a steel merchant for four to five years.

Ferguson says that he enjoys what he does and believe there is a lot of scope for Kemppi Australia to increase its market share in these parts and he has very good knowledge of the technical needs in these parts, a strong business network, and aware that by showing a direct presence across this territory Kemppi is bound to increase its influence
