Ann Aslinger
Judith Ann Aslinger, 53, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lordon Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008.
She was born in New Orleans and was a graduate of Holy Angels HighSchool class of 1973. Ann was raised and baptized in the Catholicfaith and later in life accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and wasbaptized in the Baptist faith. She was a member of Hixson FirstBaptist Church and in the past, she taught the 4-year-olds' SundaySchool Class. Ann retired from BellSouth after 26 years of service.She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Frank Perniciaro Sr.; andbrother-in-law, Donald Roper.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Gary Aslinger;son, Josh Aslinger; mother, Edwina Perniciaro; sisters, Lydia Roperand Ann's twin sister, Lynn Dalon; brother, Frank Perniciaro Jr.;several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral homechapel with the Rev. Terry Shannon officiating.
Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today and noon to1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dylan Jack Cresswell, 3 months old, of Lookout Valley, went to bewith the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at a local hospital.
He was born in Chattanooga to proud and loving parents, Dustin andRachel Cresswell.
Our perfect little angel went home to heaven. He brought joy toeveryone who had the chance to spend time with him. He was onlyhere for a short time but our memories will last forever.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Kenneth Smith;great-grandfathers, Jack Cresswell, Ray Robinson, Ples Miles and EdWingate; and cousin, Elijah Wingate.
Surviving are his parents; grandmother, Denise Cresswell Smith;grandparents, Randy and Gayla Miles; great-grandmothers, EvelynLeathers, Ethel Miles, Christine Boyd, Barbara Cresswell, and EdithSmith; aunt, Lacey Miles; uncle, Andy (Wendy) Cresswell; cousin,Andrew Burke; and many, many other loving relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral homewith the Rev. Lloyd Harvill officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

James Everhart
James William Steelman Everhart, 75, a lifelong resident ofChattanooga, a devout Christian, a prominent businessman, civicleader and a friend to everyone he knew, went home to be with theLord on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008.
He was at home with his devoted wife and children by his side.
His parents were the late W.J. and Katharyn Guille Everhart. He wasa graduate of Central High School and was founder and owner ofEverhart Steel Construction for over 40 years. He was well knownfor building many structures in the city of Chattanooga and bestknown professionally for erecting the Sunsphere in Knoxville forthe 1982 World's Fair and Expo. Jim served over 10 years in theTennessee National Guard, U.S. Army. Jim was involved in numerouscivic and professional clubs and was an active member of RidgedaleBaptist Church. He was a charter member of Expressway OptimistClub; board of directors for City Farmers and Souls for Christ;board of directors for Jesters, Red Cross members, Jaycee's andShriners; Half Century Club; and Gideons International.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl Everhart; son, Mitch (Deborah)Everhart; daughter, Michele (Bryan) Sharpe; stepdaughters, Janyne(Bryan) Preston, Jennifer Hoke, Julie (Joe) Romeo; grandchildren,Emily and Ansley Sharpe, Mia, Ryan and Abigail Preston, JoshuaHoke, Joseph, Nicholas, Ally and Sophie Romeo; sister, Rosalind(Basil) Savard; special cousin, Phyllis Henry and numerous cousins,nieces and nephews; Hospice caregiver, Larry Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ridgedale BaptistChurch with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.
Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East, with a Trinitydove release.
Active pallbearers will be members of the Promise Sunday SchoolClass.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gideons, members of the Souls forChrist and close friends.

Robin Gann
Robin T. Gann, 61, born March 21, 1947, of Chattanooga, was calledto be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008.
Robin graduated from Red Bank High School in 1965 and ClevelandState in 1977 with an A.S. degree in criminal justice. Robinenlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968, attended boot camp in Orlando,Fla., and served aboard the destroyer USS Little Rock on a Europeantour prior to becoming a member of the Seabees as a heavy equipmentoperator. Robin was stationed at Subic Bay, Philippines, andGulfport, Miss. Receiving an honorable discharge in 1972, Robinlater joined the U.S. Navy Reserve. He received the NavyAchievement Medal, served in Operation Desert Storm and attainedthe rank of chief petty officer prior to retiring in 1996.
Robin was employed by DuPont for four years prior to becomingemployed by TVA in 1977, where he retired in 2004 as a TVA federallaw enforcement officer after 27 years of dedicated service. Robinloved life to the fullest and was an extremely fun-loving personwho never met a stranger. He and his loving wife enjoyed many pets,whether cats or dogs. They always have food for strays, a couple ofwhich have found a home with Robin and Deborah.
Robin had a passion for riding his Harley and often took trips tobike events such as Daytona Beach, Fla., and Sturgis, S.D., andriding with friends. Additionally, Robin enjoyed working out at thegym, golfing, darting and hanging out with friends. Robin was aproud member of several organizations, including the Daisy LodgeNo. 706, F&AM; the American Legion; National Rifle Association;Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club;American Motorcyclist Association; Fleet Reserve Association; andVeterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4848.
He was preceded in death by parents, Glenn and Ellen Gann.
Robin is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; brother, David;sister, Glenda; nieces, nephews and other family members, as wellas many, many friends.

Willma Sue "Granny Sue" Griffin, 69, of Chattanooga, passed awayFriday, Sept. 19, 2008, in a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith, had been a waitress at Gulas'Restaurant and most recently had worked in the deli at East RidgeFood Lion.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Nance Bankston;stepfather, C.G. Bankston; and sister, Nina Woodard.
Survivors include her children, Becky Bryson and husband, Butch, ofEast Ridge, Rick Wagner and wife, Darlene, of Rock Spring, Ga.,Salina Gewalt and Deano Fillers and wife, Vanette, all ofChattanooga; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; twosisters, Johnnie Hutton, of Chattanooga, and Joy Dixon, ofCleveland, Tenn.; one brother, Dale Walker, of Chattanooga; severalnieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was a lifetime memberof the Masonic Lodge in Phoenix, Ariz., a Class 1 electrician inChattanooga and a member and elder of Dayton Church of God.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer Adams; parents,Earnest and Myrtle Curry Adams; brother, Charles Adams; fivesisters, Bernice De Bardelaben, Birdie Estes, Betty LaFarge, BillieFisher and Brenda Ford.

Jack was a veteran of World War II, and retired from Southern RailRoad after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Earl Miller, Julian R.Miller Jr. and his wife, Ruth Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Essie Comstock.
