Public art auction tonight
The eye lounge: a contemporary art space will host a public artauction, "A Midsummer Night's Green" from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, July18, at 419 E. Roosevelt in the Roosevelt Row arts district indowntown Phoenix.
A preview will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., and bidding will last from6 to 9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Target World Music Festival kicks off Phoenix Symphony's season
With the support of Target, The Phoenix Symphony presents itsinaugural Target World Music Festival around the Valley Sept. 11 to21. The festival features a stunning roster of world-renowned guestartists, including Celtic fiddler Natalie MacMaster, Chinese pipasensation Wu Man and the Kronos Quartet.

Sedona Jazz on the Rocks
The 27th annual Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival brings together adiverse and eclectic mix of jazz artists and an expanded-eventschedule, Sept. 23 to 28, at locations throughout Sedona.
Proceeds support educational programs and scholarships for studentsfrom across Arizona.
The main event, the all-day outdoor JazzFest Saturday, Sept. 27, onthe lawn at the Radisson Poco Diablo Resort, begins at 10 a.m.
Individual tickets start at $65 for lawn seating and $85 for chairseating. Seats in the VIP Tent are $125 for SJOR members only.

ZooFari early bird tickets on sale
Tickets for ZooFari, the Phoenix Zoo's black tie fundraiser, arenow available at a special "early bird" price of only $180 perticket. ZooFari 2008, set for 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, raisesfunds to support the non profit Phoenix Zoo.
