Bagdad United Methodist Church, located in Bagdad, will be havingVacation Bible School July 14-17 (Monday through Thursday), ages3-11 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. There will be arts, crafts, singing &Bible Lessons. Dragonfly Gallery to hold weaving workshops
The Dragonfly Gallery will be the site of two weaving on a triangleloom workshops. The first workshop will be on Saturday, July 19thfrom 9:00 till 3:00. A follow up session and encore workshop willbe on July 21st at the same times. These workshops will beconducted by local fiber artists, Jan Dempsey and Sandi Lang.
Triangle Weaving is a unique process that builds the weave from twoopposite corners at the same time. The technique offers afull-size shawl in just a few hours. During the class you willbuild the frame and begin the weaving. These workshops have limitedopenings. You may register by calling Jan Dempsey at 623-3711 orcalling the Gallery, 981-1100.
The Dragonfly Gallery located at 5188 Escambia Street in historicdowntown Milton, is a mission of the Santa Rosa Art and CultureFoundation. It is a juried gallery of local artists. Gallery hoursare Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The Parent Place is a unique store, where parents/guardians can redeem certificatesthey have earned by volunteering with their child’s day carecenter and/or school for toys, books, games, and videos. All itemsin the Parent Place have been donated by schools, businesses,private citizens, and other organizations. Please consider donatingnew and gently used toys and books that are appropriate forschool-age boys.
