Worldwide Art Handling Authority Rick Yamada Joins Surround Art

The company will soon open a new, 89,000 square foot, LEED Silvercertified storage facility at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The new building is part of a newMuseum Resource Campus encompassing three buildings and more than165,000 square feet of space under management. SurroundArt'sWashington, D.C. facilities include storage space in both thedistrict and near Dulles airport. Since 1998, SurroundArt hassupported the most prestigious museums and galleries in thenation's capital.

In previous roles, Yamada has worked with ELY, Inc., Fine ArtsExpress, and Artex Fine Arts Services. He has also held exhibitionand handling positions with the National Air and Space Museum,Smithsonian Office of Exhibits Central, and the National PortraitGallery.
