Weidmuller announces the introduction of a new family of innovative products for processing analogsignals - the MANN SERIES. This new series ranges from simplededicated units to complex microprocessor-controlled devices thatcan be used with almost all signal types and measurement sensors.The MANN SERIES products also offer a variety of integratedfunctions including timing delays, adjustable threshold values anda programmable linearization function. These integrated functionsprovide process automation users the ability to configure themodules to meet the specific needs of an application, whilereducing the number of products required.

Weidmuller's MANN SERIES includes signal isolators andtransmitters, process alarms, multi-channel processing modules,indicators and configurable displays, counters/totalizers andcalibration devices. Custom configuration and saving is made easywith the adjustable and simple menu systems. The data stored in themodules is accessed through either passwords or a securecable-link, providing for added security. These features allow forquick start up and reduced machine downtime.

The MANN SERIES Portable loop calibrators offer instrumentationusers a choice of robust hand-held calibrators for routine loopchecking, making transmitter or valve checking easy even in theharshest process environments. Trouble-shooting in the field isstreamlined with front panel instruments that includesimple-to-calibrate digital LCD or LED displays, as well aspowerful configurable indicating conditioners and monitors.

Each product in the MANN SERIES line features a robust and secureextruded aluminum housing that is designed to withstand harshprocess environments. All modules are DIN-rail mountable and haveUL approvals.
