Tag : samarium cobalt magnet

Both the PIxxxxAG-21H line and the PDxxxxAQ-21H line of isolatorsare constructed with samarium cobalt (SmCo) magnets packaged inaluminium housings, providing immediate improvements in reliabilityand performance as well as a "green" environmentally friendlierapplication, versus existing generations of isolators.
Each new product delivers excellent electrical performance andrugged construction developed to meet the more demandingoperational requirements of the new highly integrated dual- andquad-density platforms used in next-generation cellularbasestations.
The PIxxxxAG-21H line is tuned to cover the five major cellularfrequency bands from 869 to 2190MHz, and comes in industry-standard1 x 1in "drop-in" lead-free and RoHS-compliant packages.
The PDxxxxAQ-21H line is tuned to cover the four major cellularfrequency bands from 869 to 1990MHz, and comes in industry-standard1 x 2in "drop-in" lead-free and RoHS-compliant packages.
"RFMD's two new lines of single-junction and dual-junction samariumcobalt isolators are designed to meet the stringent performancerequirements of next-generation integrated basestation platforms and are highly complementary to RFMD's industry-leadingportfolio of high-performance integrated RF components", says, BobPinato, General Manager of RFMD's Standard Products Business Unit.
Samples are immediately available for both the PIxxxxAG-21H andPDxxxxAQ-21H lines of isolators, and RFMD expects volume shipmentswill commence in Q3 2008.
