A bulldozer driver was shot dead in central Jerusalem on Tuesdayafter injuring seven people in an apparent copy-cat attack, Israelipolice and rescue services said.
"The driver of the bulldozer overturned two cars. One person wasinjured. We do not yet know the extent of the injuries," policespokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.
"A border policeman who happened on the scene killed theterrorist."
A source with the Magen David Adom emergency services said sevenpeople were hurt, one of them seriously.
Jerusalem police chief Aharon Franco said "the terrorist wasneutralised very quickly" and police were working to reopen thestreet to traffic.
On July 2, a Palestinian in Jerusalem killed three people andwounded 30 others when he rammed a bulldozer into a bus and cars ona busy street before being shot dead.
