Baylor University’s Mayborn Museum Complex, 1300 S.University-Parks Drive, will feature Antarctica in “WorldwideWednesdays” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 12 and younger and freefor members and Baylor students.
‘Grease’ hits the stage
The Waco Children’s Theatre will present the Broadway musical“Grease” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and at2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Waco High School Performing Arts Center,2020 N. 42nd St.
Tickets cost $10. The box office will open at 5 p.m. before eachshow.
Zoo invades library
Hewitt Public Library will have a program featuring the CameronPark Zoo Mobile Program at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday atthe Hewitt Community Center, 208 Chama Drive in Hewitt.
Guests will get a close-up look at animals and creepy crawlers.
Marketing local art
The Central Texas Watercolor Society will present a program on“Marketing Our Art” by former Dallas gallery owner andartist Ann Thompson, of Clifton, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday inthe meeting room at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 1624Wooded Acres Drive.
Teachers’ luncheon
The Waco Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring ateachers’ appreciation luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday atRidgewood Country Club, 7301 Fish Pond Road. Buffet begins at 11:15a.m. Cost is $15.
‘Bella’ to show in Waco
Pro-Life Waco is sponsoring a screening of the film Bella at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 205 N. 14th St.
Set in Hispanic culture in New York City, the film portrays thevalues of forgiveness, true love and sacrifice.
