The Black Diamond Council honored scouts who sold at least athousand boxes of cookies.

BRIDGEPORT -- The Black Diamond Council honored 42 Girl Scouts inBridgeport Wednesday, for selling at least a thousand boxes ofcookies last year.
Each girl who sold at least a thousand boxes received a prize ofher choosing. The prizes ranged from digital cameras to tents toAmerican Girl dolls. The three girls with the highest cookie salesreceived a Cookie Achievement Medallion engraved with their namesand individual accomplishments.
The top three sellers in the council were Stacy L. Meadow ofHuntington, who sold 2831 boxes, Janalee Poe of Fairmont, who sold2266 boxes, and Alyssa Ebert of Cameron, who sold 2107 boxes
The Black Diamond Council includes 48 counties in West Virginia, 7in Ohio, 3 in Virginia, and 1 in Maryland.
