Truck accident spills frozen seafood into backyard

KENDRICK, Idaho (AP) _ Investigators are still trying to
determine how a truck driver lost control of tractor-trailer and
spilled thousands of pounds of frozen seafood down a hillside and
into a residential backyard.
The accident occurred Sunday near Kendrick after the driver lost
control steering through a sharp corner at the bottom of a 5-mile
descending grade on Idaho Highway 99.
Idaho State Police say the driver, Kevin J. Storm, 42, of
Yankton, S.D., was transported to a Lewiston hospital and is listed
in fair condition.
Much of the cargo _ boxes of frozen tuna, crab legs and other
seafood _ tumbled down a 100-foot hill into the backyard of homes
below. Much of the food was salvaged and later distributed by the
local food bank.
