Truck accident spills frozen seafood into backyard

KENDRICK, Idaho (AP) - Investigators are still trying to determinehow a truck driver lost control of tractor-trailer and spilledthousands of pounds of frozen seafood down a hillside and into aresidential backyard.
The accident occurred Sunday near Kendrick after the driver lostcontrol steering through a sharp corner at the bottom of a 5-miledescending grade on Idaho Highway 99.
Idaho State Police say the driver, Kevin J. Storm, 42, of Yankton,S.D., was transported to a Lewiston hospital and is listed in faircondition.
Much of the cargo - boxes of frozen tuna, crab legs and otherseafood - tumbled down a 100-foot hill into the backyard of homesbelow. Much of the food was salvaged and later distributed by thelocal food bank.
