Govt. revises tariff value of brass scrap

Government has revised the tariff value of Brass Scrap (all grades)at Rs 4,453 MT.
Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) have notified tariffvalues of edible oils, brass scrap (all grades) and Poppy seeds inits circular today (Jun. 30, 2008).
According to a release by CBEC, the tariff value of Crude Palm Oil,RBD Palm Oil, Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Palmolein,Crude Soyabean Oil and poppy seeds remained unchanged at Rs 447Metric Ton (MT), Rs 476 MT, Rs 462 MT, Rs 481 MT, Rs 484 MT, Rs 483MT, Rs 580 MT and 5,048 MT respectively.
