On assuming charge as Sheriff, sheimmediately launched the women's helpline 1298 with the support of20 leading NGO's, promoted blood donations for the citizens,harnessed student energy for Municipal Corporations, Clean UpMumbai campaigns, where student volunteers would blow the Sheriffswhistle to keep Mumbai city clean, initiated the much needed greenMumbai project and provided for clean drinking water in the Mumbaidistrict jail.
