Motorola\'s New ROKR EM30 Becomes 22nd LiMo Handset

The highly anticipated ROKR EM30--Motorola's eighth LiMo handset--is a GSM quad-band phone that supports global roaming and offers anexciting set of compelling music features. The ROKR EM30 isexpected to launch first in Taiwan then in other markets throughoutthe quarter. Building upon the success of the ROKR E8, the EM30 istargeted for mass-market consumers worldwide and includes improvedfeatures including an LCD display, easier D-pad navigation andbuilt-in GPS functionality to enable an array of location-basedservices.

Motorola's announcement of this device gives further evidence thatindustry unification around the LiMo Platform can support variedfunctionality providing an enhanced mobile experience for consumersaround the globe.
