This sustainable solution meets globaldemand to reduce global warming and decrease dependence on foreignoil.
Renewable Chemicals Corporation, an IBC subsidiary, will use theALCHEMx Production Platforms to convert sugarcane based ethanol toethylene. The bio-ethylene can then be converted into variousdownstream chemicals including ethylene oxide, low density and highdensity polyethylene, styrene, and polystyrene. Existingmanufacturing infrastructure can be utilized that now produce thesesame chemicals from petroleum based ethylene.
"The conversion of ethanol into chemicals is not a new process ortechnology, some of the first plastics produced were originallymade from ethanol. Due to increasing petroleum costs and globalwarming, this is a now a very compelling, eco-efficient alternativeto traditional petrochemical production," stated Andrew Badolato,IBC Chairman and CEO.

Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) closed at $1.05 Tuesday, trading29,800 shares.
Company News- July 29, 2008: Aura Systems All ElectricRefrigeration System Exempt from New California Air Resource BoardTRU Requirements By Eliminating Source of Harmful Pollutants
Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) announced yesterday theintroduction of its all-electric truck refrigeration system inCalifornia. The system provides up to 20,000 BTU/hr and isavailable on Freightliner, Hino, Isuzu, International Navistar,Kenworth, Mitsubishi and UD platforms. Refrigeration trucks areused to bring food from distribution points to markets whilecontrolling the temperature of the food. Traditional trucks usesmall auxiliary Diesel engines that have been recognized as animportant source of harmful air pollutants. As a result, theCalifornia Air Resources Board ("CARB") has passed broadregulations for Transport Refrigeration Units ("TRU") that arescheduled to go into effect on December 31, 2008 to reduce theemissions of these trucks.
The Aura Oasis refrigeration system eliminates the extra dieselengine used by most other refrigeration truck manufacturers. TheAura Oasis system is thus exempt from the CARB TRU regulations. This is due to the fact that the CARB regulations are for Dieselengines used in the TRU. The Oasis system does not have a Dieselengine or any other kind of internal combustion engine. Thisimmediately results in elimination of the emissions that CARB seeksto control as well as providing very significant fuel savings tothe truck operators and savings in the cost of normal scheduledmaintenance associated with a Diesel engine.
The system includes the AuraGen G8500 ICS power system, theAura-Oasis all electric refrigeration system manufactured byDimplex Corporation featuring the Copeland scroll compressor andincludes a control and monitoring system inside the truck cab. TheG8500 ICS is a load following machine providing up 8,000 Watts ofcontinuous (24/7) AC power with the ability to handle large powerspikes (20+kW) when inductive loads such as compressors are turnedon. The system is integrated with the truck body through the PowerTake-Off port "PTO" and is also available with a belt interfaceunder the hood. The ICS module includes the Aura's patentedBi-Directional Power supply that provides the truck refrigerationsystem the ability to seamlessly switch the power source from theAuraGen to batteries as well as combine power from the AuraGen anda battery pack to handle large power spikes. This unique featureallows uninterrupted power when the PTO stops rotating during truckstops such as a stop light or when the engine is turned off duringloading and unloading. In addition, when combined with 4-6additional batteries this provides a back-up system duringemergencies to protect the refrigerated load for a number of hoursdepending on the type of food. The load following feature of thesystem delivers only the power needed at any given time. Forexample, once the refrigeration box reaches the desired settemperature, the system power requirements drop significantly asthe demand is only for temperature maintenance. The AuraGen systemdoes not require any scheduled maintenance.
The Aura Oasis system is based on proven commercial refrigerationtechnology and is manufactured by Dimplex Corporation, a privatecompany with annual revenues of approximately $2 billion dollarwith global manufacturing and sales subsidiaries in the UnitedKingdom, Germany, and Norway, Canada and China and sales offices inFrance, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Japan, and Poland.
Because the system is based on commercial refrigeration designthere are no "capture parts" that must be ordered from therefrigerator system supplier, but rather common parts available forcommercial refrigeration. Any required service can be provided byany commercial refrigeration service technician. The compressorused in the Aura Oasis system is the Copeland scroll compressorwith over 26 million systems in use worldwide.
Joseph Dickman, Aura's VP of sales said, "We are very excited aboutthis application of the AuraGen mobile power solution. Thereception from OEMs, dealers and end user customers in Californiahas been extremely positive. We are in the process of setting up anumber of dealers and customer service centers throughoutCalifornia with coverage in San Diego, Los Angeles, Fresno, SanFrancisco and Sacramento. We recently hired additional staff toexpand our sales activities in the North East and South East partsof the country. We expect to introduce a smaller 10,000 BTU/hrsystem next quarter and our 50,000 BTU/hr trailer refrigerationsystem before the end of the year." Melvin Gagerman, Aura's CEOsaid, "There are tens of thousands of TRUs in California and theyare significant contributors of harmful diesel emissions such asPMs and NOx. The Aura-Oasis system not only reduces dieselemissions from the TRUs but eliminates them all together. Inaddition to the clear health and environmental benefits, the systemprovides the TRU operator with significant monthly cost savings forDiesel fuel and scheduled maintenance."
