Tag : Heat Resistant Wire

GeckoZap allows the robotics technician to calibrate the deadreckoning system, the CompoundedSensorArray?, theGeckoMotorController?, the GeckoTactileShroud?, and GeckoOrient?.It has a user-interface that readily allows the technician tomanually send commands to the robot, which would normally be sentautomatically by GeckoNav. This allows the user to testfunctionality of the mobile robot by sending/retrieving data andcommanding the robot?s movements. Commands are sent to the robot in?packets." These packets consist of vital information forcontrolling the robot: header information such as node addressesfor different internal components, and the component-specificcommands. GeckoZap makes the packet assembly and serialtransmission transparent to the user by providing a?point-and-click? interface for these operations. It runs onWindows 98/2000/XP.

About GeckoSystems International Corporation:In the ten years sincefounding, the Company has developed a suite of proprietary, fundamental technologies that enable their robots to automaticallyself-navigate the home or workplace using advanced sense and avoidtechnologies for reliable, unattended collision avoidance whilepatrolling, following and/or seeking preset destinations. Theirplethora of sensor fusion technologies enables extraordinary levelsof situational awareness. These scientifically developed, tested, and proven hardware and software breakthroughs enable thepractical, low cost manufacture, sale and usage of mobile servicerobots in a variety of environments.

The Company's suite of fundamental mobile robot technologiesinclude: CompoundedSensorArray? (a new type of optical rangefinding and vision system), GeckoSPIO? (an advanced networkable, high I/O count robot controller board), GeckoOrient? (a sensorfused positioning subsystem), GeckoNav? (an automatic,self-navigation AI engine for MSR's), GeckoTrak? (an automaticperson following systems), GeckoZap? (a test, calibrate, and debugsoftware suite), and GeckoChat? (a verbal interaction system thatenables timely verbal reminders, monologues, dialogues, andcustomizable robotic personalities).
