KPN, ZTE join forces for mobile data connectivity in theNetherlands (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ZTE, a provider of telecommunications equipment and networksolutions, has signed a framework agreement with KPN to provide mobile data
connectivity devices for the HSDPA network of the Dutch operator.
ZTE will provide the MF628 USB modem to KPN for its 'MobielInternet' customers who have high-speed laptop connectivity, enabling thoseusers to access the internet from almost any location in the Netherlands at home, in the bus or even in the park.
ZTE's MF628 USB modem includes a microSD slot for up to 4GB ofstorage to enable users to share and move data on multiple devices.
The modem will connect to KPN's HSDPA network and is compatiblewith Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista, and MacOS X operatingsystems. Following the partnership with KPN in the Netherlands, ZTE expectsto
