Lumex Launches New High-Power LED Technologies New products easily integrated for use in wide variety ofapplication-specific products
Lumex announces the launch of twonew high-power LED technologies, TitanBrite(TM) and SuperBeam(TM)that provide bright, intense light with low power consumption.
TitanBrite is a 5-watt LED that delivers light intensity of up to250 lumens of brilliant white light at 700mA of current. Compatiblewith most surface mount processes, TitanBrite LEDs are ideal foruse in spot lighting applications including display lighting,sign/graphic backlighting, medical device usage, emergencyindication, architectural and decorative lighting, high-endappliances, or for any application that calls for high intensitypoint source lighting.
SuperBeam, the first high-power 1-watt LED technology to be offeredin through-hole design in the North American market, is designed tofocus intense light into a narrow beam. The through-hole design iswell-suited for applications like flashlights that do not adoptsurface mount configurations. SuperBeam is ideal for applicationsrequiring small spotlighting such as a flashlight beam in a retailshowcase, smaller medical device applications, or any applicationthat calls for bright illumination with a narrow focused beam.
