Ameren to Hold Conference Call on 2nd Quarter 2008 Earnings

Gary L. Rainwater, President, Chairman, President and CEO of Ameren( News ) Corp. (NYSE:AEE) will join Warner L. Baxter, President and CEO ofAmeren Services and CFO of Ameren Corp., to discuss first-quarter2008 financial results and other matters related to the company ina conference call with financial analysts on Friday, Aug. 1, at10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Central Time).
The call will be broadcast live over the Internet atwww.ameren.com. Supporting materials for the call will also beposted in the Investors/Presentations area of Ameren's Web site. Areplay of the Webcast will be available by from approximately onehour after the call for one year.
