Version 6 of XTension home automation suite available

Sand Hill Engineering has released XTension 6.0 , a new version of the application suite for home automation. Theupgrade supports multiple concurrent powerline and RF interfacesand an array of new home convenience devices such as the OregonScientific wireless product line from weather gauges to bathroomscales, BBQ temp sensors, atomic clocks and power monitoring.
This version is supported by an extensible web interface, X2Web, anew database and graphic charting package XTdb; and a new VideoPitcher. XTension now supports the USB and WiFi/ethernet-based RFreceivers and sensors from RFXcom, bringing “1-wire”devices into the XTension database. The ethernet receivers can belocated anywhere in the house, or over the web.
XTension supports the Weeder Technologies wired control and monitorproduct line, such as discrete sensors and relay output.
