ARM Licenses Telechips ARM Mali-200 GPU for Consumer Devices

Telechips Inc. and ARM Ltd. (ARMH: News, Chart, Quote ) said Telechips is the first Korean licensee of the ARM Mali-200graphics processing unit or GPU in portable consumer devices. TheARM Mali-200 GPU enables advanced 2D and 3D graphics capabilitiesand low memory bandwidth usage to a range of portable consumerdevices, including PMPs, PNDs, home and in-car audio and mobilephones.

Min-ho Seo, Chief Executive Officer and President of Telechips saidit selected the Mali-200 GPU for its ability to meet multipleproduct markets, encouraging innovation into the software supplychain and maximizing the benefits of graphics acceleration with asingle GPU solution.
