Additional features of the QSL RF connector, according to thecompany, include: flexibility to expand or stack multiple portconfigurations horizontally or vertically to meet customer designparameters; and a panel mount version, assembled with 1.32-mmdouble braided coax cable terminated to ultra miniature coaxconnectors (UMCC), which are intermateable to competitive products;IP 67 compatible designs.
The product is billed as an alternative solution to standard screwmachined or zinc die cast RF connectors. The connector is based onthe company's precision stamped and formed contacts and terminationtechnology, encompassed in a plastic molded housing.
