Toshiba is targeting the health-conscious with its W62T Sportio mobile phone. The handset features an integrated accelerationsensor and GPS that enable it to keep track of how many steps youtake, and how far you have gone. Also, when used in Calorie Counter mode, it can calculate how many calories you used up.
However, the really neat thing about Sportio is a special Beat Run mode. This mode allows you to compose music by jogging to specialtracks. Neat-o!
Otherwise, the phone features the usual specs: a 2.2-inch TFT with240 x 320 resolution, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, audio andvideo playback, and a 1 Seg TV tuner. The Japan-only Toshiba Sportio will be available in five colors -white, black, green, orange and red.
