The dark-haired man is described as white, aged 45-50, 5'9" tall,well built with broad shoulders and a large stomach.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and urging womento be on their guard.

Sergeant Helen Lodge said: "We don't want to scare people becausethis is rare in Rutland. We just advise women to be vigilant whilethey are out walking and to take a mobile phone with them as aprecaution.

"We are keen to hear from any ladies who have experienced similarincidents or anyone who might have seen this man in Exton Park onMonday."
