Samsung Launches Green Top Loaders

The Samsung SW80USP 8kg washing machine and the Samsung SW75USP7.5kg washing machine have a 4-star WELS rating, consuming up to13,000 litres of water per year less than an equivalent 3 star WELSrated top loader of the same capacity.
The Samsung Mist Shower feature, which is available in the 5.5kgSW55USP, 6.5kg SW65USP and 8.0kg SW80USP models, gives clothes asuperior rinse while saving 20% more water than a traditionalwashing machine. The Mist Shower technology sprays water into thedetergent at the beginning of the cycle which helps it dissolve andspread evenly into your clothes, allowing everything to be fullywashed whilst limiting the amount of water needed to rinse, saysSamsung.
Samsung's Product Manager for Cleaning Appliances, Paul Lipscombsaid, "Consumers are becoming more and more conscious of theenvironmental impact of all of their appliances. Samsung's new toploading machines are water and energy efficient with a range ofunique features that still give a great wash."
